I’m Briana Roan-Lopez - avid reader, loving cat mom and photographer at KC Kids Photo!
I truly love being able to capture special moments for families through my work as a photographer with KC Kids Photo, where I’ve proudly been part of the team for five years. I grew up always taking care of kids, which helped shape my patience, understanding and passion for working with children from a young age.
I strive to create a calm, positive and fun environment during every session. I take pride in working patiently with all children... especially those who are quiet, shy, or nervous. By taking my time and meeting each child where they are, I aim to help them feel comfortable and confident so their genuine personality can shine through in their photos!
What I enjoy most about my job is the opportunity to make a meaningful impact, even in small ways. A warm smile, gentle encouragement, or a few extra moments can make all the difference for a child who may be unsure or hesitant. I’m dedicated to doing my best with every child and capturing natural, heartfelt expressions that families can look back on and cherish for years to come.
Outside of work, I’m very laid back and enjoy spending my time doing things that help me recharge and stay inspired. I love reading, gaming, babysitting, petsitting and spending cozy time at home with my cats. Photography is also a creative outlet for me beyond work, I occasionally take on side projects to continue learning, experimenting and growing in my craft.
Helping others whenever I can is important to me, both personally and professionally. I’m always eager to learn, grow, and push my creativity further, and I’m excited to be working with your school while bringing a caring, patient and supportive presence to every session.
