Hello!
I'm Kamme Smith - wife, mom of 3 boys and senior photographer at KC Kids Photo.
I’ve been part of KC Kids Photo for nearly ten years and now proudly serve as a senior photographer. Over the years, I’ve grown alongside the company, learning the ins and outs of children’s photography and developing the skills needed to make every session feel natural, relaxed and fun. My time at KC Kids Photo has given me invaluable experience working with children of all ages and personalities and it’s where I’ve truly learned how to connect quickly and authentically with kids in front of the camera.
I’m also a mom to three wild, energetic boys and I can honestly say that motherhood has prepared me for just about everything photography can throw my way. From busy toddlers to shy kids and confident teens, raising three boys has taught me patience, creativity, flexibility and how to stay calm in even the most unpredictable moments. Those lessons translate directly into my work and allow me to photograph children from newborns through high school with confidence and ease.
Through the knowledge and experience I gained while working with KC Kids Photo, I’ve also been able to build and run my own successful photography business, Kamme Smith Photography. Learning strong workflows, consistency, customer care and the importance of creating a positive experience has shaped me into both a better photographer and business owner.
When I’m not behind the camera, life is full and fast-paced. You’ll often find me running from sports practices to games, cheering on my boys from the sidelines. I love having photo-editing dates with close photographer friends, where creativity and friendship go hand in hand. Giving back is also a big part of who I am, whether that’s going on mission trips with my church or serving my community in any way I can.
Children and family-centered photography hold a special place in my heart because it reflects the love, laughter and chaos of my own family. My husband Tony and our three boys are the backbone of everything I do and have supported me through every spontaneous idea and creative adventure along the way. I’m honored to capture families with the same passion and care I pour into my own and I look forward to creating memories that will be cherished for years to come.
