Hello!
I'm Hailey Heese - book-lover, baker and photographer at KC Kids Photo.
As a photographer, I specialize in working with young children, creating fun mini photoshoots that capture authentic, heartfelt moments families can cherish for years to come. I’ve always known that I wanted to work with kids and I love that my current role always me to bring joy and smiles to their faces through my camera.
What I enjoy most about photographing children is watching them gradually open up, express their real smiles and let their unique personalities shine. One of my favorite parts of the job and one I take great pride in, is creating moments where a child can genuinely enjoys taking pictures and then capturing that pure excitement in a photograph.
I’ve been working with KC Kids Photo for over three years and truly enjoy being part of such a supportive, fun and creative team. Being surrounded by people who also value both the children and families we work with makes the job even more rewarding. Knowing that the photographs we take mean so much to the families we serve makes it so much more than just a job. I truly enjoy returning to schools that I have photographed season after season, where students and staff alike remember me and I am able to grow meaningful relationships with them.
Outside of work, I enjoy reading, experimenting with new baking recipes and spending quality time with friends. I also often babysit, pet-sit and house-sit, which aligns naturally with my caring and dependable personality, as well as my love for working with kids and families.
When I am not working with other families inside or outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my own family. I come from a family of four and am the oldest sister. I love big family get-togethers filled with laughter, games and shared memories. Our family also includes a beloved four-legged family member, our dog Charlie, who has been with us for almost nine years and brings endless joy and energy to our home.
