Hello!

I'm Karina Solis-Aguilar - a multi-passionate artist, fitness enthusiast and photographer at KC Kids Photo.

I am so excited to be part of the KC Kids Photo team! Photography has been a passion of mine for as long as I can remember. l've always treasured those fleeting moments, and I love finding the spark in each child that makes their smile feel uniquely their own. It's an honor to reflect back to my clients the version of themselves that brings so much joy to others.

I'm a multi-passionate artist at heart. Whether I'm working with clay, acrylic paint, or behind the camera, I love the challenge of learning new things and staying in a "state of creation." That creative energy carries over into my life as a mixed martial artist too. Practicing boxing, kickboxing and capoeira keeps me physically and mentally connected… which brings me so much joy! I bring the same joy with me each day and love sharing it with the kids I work with!

With a background as a personal trainer, group fitness instructor and a NASM specialization in Youth Exercise, l've spent a lot of time in gyms and 1-on-1 training sessions. I've also had the amazing opportunity to coach for Girls on the Run, Sporting KC and the Real Madrid Foundation Clinics. These experiences as a youth leader and mentor taught me how important it is to help children build confidence and a "can-do" mindset. I bring an encouraging, high-energy presence that helps kids feel empowered and excited to be in front of the camera.

While I don't have kids of my own, I'm a big family person and a proud dog mom to Georgia and Lily. I feel incredibly lucky to be in a role where I can bring my love for art and my passion for working with kids together every single day!
